connection between daedalus a feather and the temperature of the sun

I don't know how it connects in with the game, but Daedalus was the father of Icarus, he made them both wings out of feathers and told Icarus not to fly too near to the sun otherwise the heat would melt the wax holding the feathers together, unfortunately Icarus was careless and got too near the sun where the heat melted the wax causing Icarus to fall into the sea and drown.
