Suggestions for things to do in Dallas, please
I'm off to Dallas for 5 days at the start of June.
Apart from visiting the "grassy knoll", Dealey Plaza and the 6th Floor museum, can anyone suggest anything else (non-JFK-related) to do? Anywhere to go?

For a girl the shopping is fantastic - there is a mall called Galleria complete with ice skating rink. About 30 mins north of Dallas in Parker is the house where they shot the Dallas TV show which is good for a visit, and just north of there is an outlet mall on Stacy road which is good for more shopping.

And don't forget to visit Fort Worth - the original Cow town - go to the Stockyards area and watch the cows being driven down the street, have a drink in the hotel on the corner where the bar stool seats are saddles, and visit the worlds biggest honkey-tonk.....
Everything in Dallas is bigger - including the food and the hairdo's! Enjoy!
