Theland, done as you asked and started reading Genesis, now Cain kills Abel, God marks cane with a mark that tells anyone not to kill him or suffer God's fury. Seeing Cane is only the forth person on the planet, the chances of him running in to someone, who wants to kill him are remoter than me winning Miss world. But then, secondly; he is banished to' Nod' (not the Yorkshire one), who in heavens name has got in there that quick, was God setting up franchises all over this planet at this time?

Seth was born when Adam was 130, and Eve saw him as a replacement for Abel, (Gen4:25), so the period from Cains birth to Abels death could have been 100 years or more, allowing plenty of time for Adam & Eve to have had many more children and grandchildren. So the place was getting quite populated, quite quickly.

And you honestly, hand on heart, believe that answer?
Cane Killed Abel, cane was sent out into the wilderness and ended up at Nod. Where did this Nod come from, as i said he was only one of now '3' people on the planet, seeing as it would be impossible for Cane to breed as his mother was the only female on the planet and though the Bible condones incest, Cane wasn't around... His mum and Dad, even if they were like it like rabbits and all their kids were too, there aint enough time. Your holy book is full of discrepancies and we are still on the first page

There is no contradiction. The information is there in the text. Where would people come from if not from the common source of Adam and Eve? Whether you believe it or not is another matter, but even if you simply treat it as a work of fiction, (which i don't), then the fact remains that there is no mystery, when you consider the longevity that is given as a fact.
East of Eden is Nod? Whats north south and west of Eden, the translation is not perfect i have read many many argue about this translation (imagine that) but in its literal sense if it did mean 'wondering', the direction would not have been named as east. Seeing the direction was used, you have to assume 'Nod' is a place, not just somewhere to wander, you can wander anywhere.
Thats if you use 'logic'.
