I try not to judge anyone from thier posts - but looking at your spelling and the disclosure you have given I feel you have an up hill battle but I wish you good luck.
Be honest and open about your past and try getting your GP to sort out any anger problems you have.
The police have many jobs so look on the web site and down load the Job Descriptions and try and match yourself to the key points. while your doing your degree apply for jobs to get interview experiance.
BEST OF LUCK

Sorry I dont usually spell like that. I just read it through my questions and realised I had not checked it before I submitted it hence the mistakes.
Thanks for your answer. I dont have an anger problem but the thing with me is I get a bit silly when drunk so after last week I have realised that I need to cut down how much I drink as I have only got in trouble when I have been drunk (drink driving). And what happened last week was a really silly thing and I regret it so much now as I know this will always be with me and the thing is I am not even racist ATALL. I made 1 comment and got caught out.
I just hope that once I have done my degree this will not go against me. A caution is a slap on the wrist and I will never do anything bad again. I have spoken to a policeman who I know and he said that there are police officers who have silly theft convictions etc from when they were younger and aslong as your are honest about everything it should not be a problem.

Here is the Merseyside Police answer re previous convictions.
It would appear that they will consider applications once the drink/drive offence is over 10 years old
