Could anybody (maybe SteveD?) translate these two italian words for me; sortilegio and sipingerti. They're from a song. Thanks for any replies.

Sortilegio means witchcraft or a (magic) spell. Sorry, but I can't help with sipingerti (presumably the reflexive form - 2nd person singular - of the verb sipingere (?)). It doesn't appear in my dictionary and I couldn't find it using Metz's link or on Babelfish.

Can you provide the whole sentence so that we can see the context?

I think that "sipingerti" might be a spelling error. Could it be "spingerti"? If it is, then it would mean "(you) proceed / go ahead".

Thanks Metz and SteveD: i looked the song up in another site and the word is dipingerti - to paint you (Cosi dipingerti vorrei) so no wonder it wasn't in a dictionary! Anyway, thanks again.
