can you legally park on a meter tommorow

Hi there I know its a bit short notice but I have to go into work tommorow good friday and will have to take the car as i ussually take the tube to whitechapel london but the trains are not running and where i work the only place to park is on meters there is a notice saying that you have to pay from monday to friday but it does not say anything about bank holidays. j assume that you dont have to pay but am not dead sure. do any of you good a bayers out there know for sure. The Hammersmith & City Line is suspended for its full length, east of Whitechapel, tomorrow. However the District Line is only suspended between East Ham & Plaistow, with a bus service linking those stations together, so it shouldn't add much to your journey times:
