closing gates

hi there yes my neighbours keep leaving our gate open and our kids could get out onto main road if we dont check all time we live in a mid terrace so they have to come across our land can anything be done about this thanks.

put a spring on the gate so its self closing. Then it shouldnt matter if they close it behind them or not.

From your message it seems you share a common path. Are they unreasonable - ie would they not close it if you approached them?

beleive me they are a different breed of people i had police around last week fighting screaming and shouting till 5.30 in morning they dont care about us.you ask them they,ll do it a couple of times and thats it.

I would be more worried about the police in your area - fighting shouting and screaming until 5:30
