patio interlocking slabs

I was watching the tv the other week and a man was showing these these interlocking patio slabs.They were small square tiles/slabs with a mesh underneath holding them together.He just layed a fewdown next to each other and brushed in coloured stones. I have been looking for these everywhere but can only find them on the internet in America. can anyone help me please.? Brenda
