Anti-virus
5 Answers
Hi. I have Norton anti-virus on my laptop and it's due to expire. I don't want to subscribe because I've been told there are free anti-virus programs available online. I have been recommended Avast. How do I uninstall Norton and then install Avast?

I've just done what Ethel told me to do and everything seems to be working fine. The Norton popup does not appear so I take it that it is now out of my computer's system. Using the thread given by Ethel I have downloaded Zonealarm for my firewall, AVG anti virus and AVG anti spyware as well as A2 free for anti Trojan
Hi
Just uninstall Norton. It really is a clumsy programme the only reason it is around is cleaver marketing and it apparent ease of use.
Then simply download AVG its great and free and now comes with a anti spyware, Virus and rootkit.
I Work and on the Internet and have done for 6 years and this is all you need.
