Flights to Oz

Flying out to Sydney next week. Its a BA flight and leaves at 10pm. Bearing in mind that most people will be a bit 'dozy' as its coming up to bedtime, will they serve the main meal shortly after takeoff, or do a snack and then a main meal prior to landing? Any one any experience?

Normally they will serve a main meal, with a light option for those wanting to sleep. They tend to want everyone to eat, have a few drinks and then be overtired, only waking up 2 hours out of Singapore for another main meal.

It also depends where you are going to refuel. Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok? We had a hot meal soon after taking off and then a breakfast type meal an hour before landing to refuel. Then on next take off we had another hot meal and another breakfast!! It won't really matter much as you will be so confused about what day and time it is that you will just accept it all. But it is so worth it. Sydney is wonderful as is the whole of Oz. Have a wonderful time!!
