Corrie again
There seem to be lots of strange things that happen in Corrie. Where are all the cars? Most people in the street probably own one but where do they keep them?
Last night (Sun ) Claire came out of the house to take Josh to the hospital and there was her car right outside the house, but there was no sign of Casey's car.
When Casey left the house, there was her car outside the house but no sign of Claire's.I could be mistaken but I don't think Claire's car was there when Ashley left for the football match, it just suddenly appeared when Claire needed it.The only car that seems to be there permenantly is Davd Platt's.

Good grief, her daughter is a self-confessed murderer, she's spiteful, selfish, grabbing and altogether extremely unpleasant, and yet her mother weeps for her and apologises for messing up in court. Do people really behave like that? If she were my daughter I'd shop her, and I most certainly wouldn't consider I owed her an apology! Sadly the tears, the cigarettes and all the rest of the fuss and nonsense is spoiling the story a bit for me, because Tracy should be getting what she deserves, not kindness and understanding from her pathetic family!
Soap land, wot a wonderful place to live. where do you know of a factory of machinists allowed to have alcoholic beverages in their lunch hour, and be allowed to operate a machine again after it. health and safety and all that? and another thing in soap land? why doesn't anyone in eastenders own a washing machine? :-)
How did this go from 'cars in Corrie' to ' washing machines in Eastenders'?
Anyway, I've realized that if the occupants at the Barlows parked just their cars outside, there'd be no room for anybody else's.
We must get a grip and remember they're just soap's I think we should stop nit picking, but it's very hard not to.:-)

This is soapland, and such 'realities' are suspended in the interests of drama.
Let's face it, in the average street / pub / factory / sandwich bar, nothing remotely exciting happens for months on end - if ever - wheras soapland is positively exhausting to live in with everyone gossiping, schemeing, and generally having entire conversations without ever interupting each other, tripping over words, forgetting what they were saying, spilling anything ... oh heck, I'm doing it now!
It's just TV - let it drift over you, like it's supposed to. Try analaysing it, and you hurt your head.
Next week - Dallas - why do so many multi-millionaire adults still live at home with the siblings they patently loathe, and why do they never ever finish a meal?
Crikey, this thread could run and run ....

You're quite right andy-hughes, I have started analysing Neighbours now, where there are goodness knows how many people living in 1 house and they just seem to flit from 1 house to another. 'Oh, come and live with us !!'
I really have lost count of who lives where and with whome.
They also employ each other so they can live and work together.Neighbours and Corrie are the only 2 soaps I watch and I wondered if there are other soaps that have more imagination and outlook.Anyway,I promise not to nit pick anymore :-)
