Our house is separated from a primary school by a narrow strip of land belonging to the school. At the time we purchased the house, four years ago, the strip of land was overgrown with bushes and brambles. This vegetation provided us with a screen from the school and meant that our house and garden were secluded from view on that side. In the last week the school have cleared the land of vegetation meaning there is now a direct view into our house and garden from the school playground.
Is it possible to take any action against the school for loss of privacy and possible reduction in the saleability of our house?
you must be joaking saleability any house next door to a school must be worth more they always are and as for privacy what are a load of small young kids going to do to you it's not like yoy commiting a criminal offence and the schools not open all the time. My next door neighbour can see into my garden im not complaining
