broadband

I had problems with my BT broadband recently. After one week of their supposed technicians trying to sort it out, and I kept on saying it was my telephone line, they agreed to send an engineer out. Yes it was the telephone line, it had got caught in the main Bt junction box. Ever since then I have not been able to run any extension lines from it, have to be right next to the main telephone box. Any ideas, is the line still faulty. What about wireless, is this safe and does it stay connected all the time. I have a laptop which is wifi ready. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

So the answer is yes, you can connect using wireless.
I would still ask BT to come back and fix the problem of not being able to use any extension lines though.
