Can all you prospective employers please advertise your vacancy correctly. I have had two interviews for bookkeeping positions. The first one was advertised as an Accounts/ Admin clerk to deal with purchase ledger and all other accounting procedures, Part time. This turned out to be a job shared purchase ledger clerk. I don't want to be a purchase ledger clerk.The second job was advertised as a part timer bookkeeper to work 3 days per week. Accounts and payroll on Sage. Great, just what i was looking for. At the interview i was told that the bookkeeping position was a new role and only 5 hours per week! Not only that it was on a self employed basis! duh! What a waste of everybodies time.
