My terrapin, who is only young, has gooey eyes, i have looked on the internet and it seems to be fungal eye. The website suggested Vitamin A drops but i cant find any anywhere, or the other option is to take him to a vet, but i cant find a vet who will treat him.

Anyone know any other solutions to this problem? he is not eating because he cant see his food :(

Cheers

Personally I would keep trying to find a vet to treat him....IF, however you can't and assuming that you bought him from a reputable [sp] source, take him back and ask their advice. I have kept small snakes as a hobby for years and find the bloke that I buy from to be far more help than the local vets [ saying that I have found a fantastic vet now....for all my animals].
Hope this helps and hope the little one is better soon.

ps....if you did buy him from some crappy pet shop....is there not a good aquatic center in your area that might help you out?
