Hi There,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how long the flight from Cardiff,UK to Cancun,Mexico takes? Also is the flight connecting or direct? I also read from one person that the transfer from the airport to Riu Tequila takes an hour, is this true? I know these are rather specific questions but im hoping someone can help!

The Cardiff Airport website shows that there are direct charter flights to Cancun:

The summer schedule hasn't been uploaded to the website, so I can't find out which company operates the flights (or their timetable). However, the flight times will be roughly the same as the ThomsonFly services from Manchester. These are quoted as 10 hours 15 minutes outbound and 9 hours 20 minutes for the return journey.

Riu Tequila isn't a place. It's the name of a 'ClubHotel', just outside Playa del Carmen. It's located 34 miles from the airport, which is consistent with the one hour journey quoted both by your informant and by the Riu Hotels website:
