I'm after a decent printer. In the past I've always had Lezmark ones but the ink is so damn expensive and it seems to dry up really quickly too. I only want one for small usage but I'd prefer something a bit cheaper to maintain! Any suggestions?

Ive always bought epsom's and compatible inks are so cheap.
Lezmarks printers are very cheap but they sting you with the ink, also i dont think you can get copy inks for them.
You should be able to get what you for under 40
i have a cheep cannon, and the compatible ink for it is only abouut 3 had it 3 years and im a student so it get used a bit. I asked in pc wortld which had the cvheepest ink, just glad we asked the cannon guy as its well cheep, basically i would say before u get a printer check out the ink prices.
You can always get a good quality genuine printer and compatible ink cartridges from local Computer Fairs. Much cheaper than the high street stores.
I have had a Lexmark X2350 all-in-one printer for 15 months without any trouble. By all accounts not the cheapest for their inks but to fit mine the Lexmark 1 cartridge costs 22 for two and by installing Inksave I can adjust ink usage from 0 to 75%. I am a light user so I am grateful for the savings.
