Can anyone supply quiz questions where the answer commences with the letter 'X' or 'Z'

It's difficult to know how hard you wish to make the questions. Why not go through a good dictionary or encyclopaedia under those letters and work out questions from the words you come across. If you want geography questions, there are several countries in Africa beginning with Z which are 'newish' names and you could give the former name.

If you google with ... list of unusual words beginning with x ... you will be amazed at what you can find. xx
