The cackle I'm not sure about, except to guess that a gaggle would normaly be geese - do they "cackle"?
[btw I only noticed afterwards that you'd asked for clues!]

Thanks Headley I have found them all now apart from 18. I am really not sure what I am looking for here. I have tried 2 different anagram search engines but I am still as much in the dark as I was to start with.
I have really struggled with this quiz, I am not good with cryptic clues. I am begining to wonder if I am going to finish at all. :-(

JimJools, the answer to 18 is a film title, and I think one of the characters of the film is called Holland. I got it by putting the first 3 words into an anagram search engine, and looking at the 8 letter words produced - from this I could guess the rest. Further clues to the 8 letter word are that it is a herb and a colour - and this is not the collective noun word. I don't know if this helps at all? (I am assuming you don't want the answer just yet)
