the question i need answering is a child under 12 allow by LAW to sit in the front seat on a booster seat as no one i know or ask can not answer this shops or the police

yes if the seat is suitable for use on front seat, although the rear seat is recommended, especially if there is an air bag in front.

you will probably find that it is only a matter of height. for safety reasons if the seatbelt cannot be adjusted to fit the child without the belt being near his/her neck then it would not be wise for them to be a front seat passenger ( regardless of air bags being fitted ).
Hi I wanted to know the same and went onto the Met Police site and you are allowed by law to carry a child in the front seat in the appropriate car seat!!
