What's the stupidest thing you've known anyone to do?

Recently, a Chinese man hid �3,200 worth of money in a bin while he went on holiday, forgot that he had hidden it there and then threw the contents of the bin away when he returned. At almost the same time a German burglar breaking into a football club, turned on the floodlights and sprinkler system in his efforts to find a light switch. Unsurprisingly he was caught. What's the stupidest thing you've known someone to do?
