I had to email a new client to day and her name was Lea Love!! I just thought what a cool name to have.

Donald Duck's son used to be our rugby coach, he's a GP too! What a small world! Anyway, my mate was telling me last night about somebody called Owen A Fortune and he also used to work for a firm called Will and Cann, as they were the surnames of the 2 partners! I've also heard of Andrew and Peter Ness (A Ness and P Ness), Russell Sprout and there's prosecuting attorney, Randy Gaylord! http://www.rgaylord.org/home.html

Not that funny maybe, but years ago, a friend's son went to school with a boy named Charly-Pepper.
For a long time I was confused, why she'd call him by his first and last name.
Then she explained that this was his first name.
Never found out his last name.

I'm glad though, that in Germany, you cannot just invent a name for your child...
Some people just are not thinking straight, when they've just had a baby!!!

There was another Donald Duck. Some years ago he was a teenager in a town near the Welsh border. He used to walk home from his girl friend's house late at night and the police would stop him to find out who was about (they used to talk to people in those days). It was said that he had been smacked by most of them when he told them his name.

My friends dad is Richard Lord (signed as R Lord), he's an athiest.

Another friend, Ian Smattick. has a girlfriend called Carrie so if they marry she will be Carrie Smattick.

Not quite answering the question but it reminded me of an incident with my neice a few years back.

There was a new girl in her class and she came home excitedly telling us of all the games she had played with this little girl. I asked her what the girls name was, to which she replied "Dean".

"Dean?" I said, "That's an unusual name for a little girl. Are you sure?".

"Yes", she was adamant.

"What exactly did she say when you asked her name?" I said.

"Well", she said. "Iasked her name and she said It's just Dean" (Justine)

It brought tears to our eyes!

I was in the Army with one of the best soldiers I ever met, unfortunatly his name was John Pottie (I kid you not), as I said, he was a great soldier but no-one ever took him seriously.
