Going out as a couple
7 Answers
Just wanted peoples opinions. Me and my boyfiend have been together 6 months, but I'm starting to miss going out as a couple, we don't really seem to do it anymore. He's in a well paid job but has a mortgage and car to pay for so doesn't really have much spare money to go out. For instance we were due to go to the cinema tonight, having been for a couple of months, and he rang me to say he'd checked his balance and didn't have to money. I'm just worried that all these nights in watching telly are going to mean we'll get bored of each other very quickly!

If you can afford it and he can swallow his pride, why shouldn't you pay for some time out together? Explain what is worrying you and perhaps say that at the moment this would be a solution, and won't he at least give it a go?
Mind you, I'm all for the option of making the most of your time at home! ;o)

Sounds like a good solution!
If he pays for the bills and doesn't want you to contribute, I don't why you can't take him out for the occasional night out as a treat!
Failing that, you can always play some board games or cook a nice romantic meal with music? It doesn't have to be sitting in front of the box!
Good luck!

how about just a nice walk out? through a park? holding hands all wrapped up in mittens and scarves? :D you don't need money to do that. or even going for a drive out somewhere? how about doing something like cooking/baking together? sounds a bit sad but i think it's great fun!
i couldn't put up with a bloke who would rather sit in than let me pay for something for us to do/see... it would drive me mad! lol
