Tree suitable for waterlogged soil?

Can anyone please recommend a suitable tree to plant that doesn't mind waterlogged soil? I am planting to screen my next door neighbours garden, but for several months of the year in winter this area is waterlogged. Any suggestions grateful?!?

BUT do not plant a willow anywhere near a house they have a really bad reputation for undermining foundations

I would suggest a Thuja / Arborvitae (tree of life)
It's an evergreen conifer ideal for screening and likes damp soils.
Choose either Thuja occidentalis, the variety 'lutea' is a nice form with golden foliage.
Thuja plicata (western red cedar) 'Auria' or 'Zebrina' are good colored forms and not nearly as vigorous as Leylandii. Good Luck Tbird+

I agree with Jake about a willow tree. We planted one and grew like wildfire. Unfortunately in the 1987 storm it blew over and demolished everything below it.

Willow loves the damp but do get blown over on occasions and they grow very fast, just cut a small branch off any willow tree and stick it in the soil and will grow, just like that!!
