There is an argument that Chinese food is healthier than British, because it is virtually fat free, both incontent and cooking. Because Chinese food is largely vegetable based, and cooked quickly at high temperatures, the goodness and vitamins are retained. Certainly the incidence of heart disease in China is far lower than in the west, and the experts do attribute that to dietary differences. That said, a properly balanced Western diet, avoiding the carbohydrates and sugars, should serve you equally as well, but you can't always get it at 2.00 a.m. when you've got the munchies after a clubbing session!
