Mr elderly has hopefully completed both the Mephisto and Azed this week but is not 100% sure of Azed 1A- Dove in Rome of old? He gets enveloped by hawkish concern (5). He has the answer 'WHEAR' His reasoning is HE enveloped by WAR or hawklike, but He can't pin down 'DOVE'

So I wasn't too far out in the earlier thread with my guess about 'dove' (doh-vay) meaning 'where' in that part of the world, albeit I did not have it in the right time-frame!
