Computer protection

I have got installed , the following :-

Firewall - Zone Alarm pro
Anti Virus - AVG
Anti Trojan - A2 Free
Anti Spyware - Spyware Blaster / AVG Anti spyware

1. I was about to install also Spybot , Adaware ,
X Cleaner and CW Shredder .
Is there any need ?

2. Since Installing the Anti Trojan and the Antispywares , my computer seems to be running slower .
Would this have anything to do with it running slower ?

3. Do updates for the above Firewall / Antivirus / Anti trojan / Antispywares, downloads and updates my computer automatically or do I have to download and run them ?

sounds like you have got more protection than the pentagon. all anti virus/trojan/active spyware programmes will slow the machine as they have to intercept and analyse everything you do. its a bit of a minefield, as there are all sorts virus's and intrusions trying to get into your system. I've got norton, which I paid about �30 for, but now find that that was for a limited amount of protection and they want me spend more to get better cover. so, anybodies guess!

You are well covered but I would instal ad-aware, it is very good!!! Ive used it for years!!
