Hi , i have had the above webcam for about 4 weeks, and it has been working great. I moved my pc yesterday and when i plugged the cam back in, it came up with " cannot find driver " I rang microsoft and they went through everything ( even though some of the things, they seemed unsure of themselves ). I uninstalled it and put in the disc but it said i was using an xp system , when i have vista premium ??? Do you all think this is a windows vista compatibility problem, ( as there are so many ). As i downloaded some updates from microsoft the previous night and now it does not work, but they said that was nothing to do with it. Please help .

Put it back into the same USB port you removed it from. If unsure try them all.

I have done this and it still does not work. I have downloaded the software from microsoft for the driver but it says not a valid win 32 application and when i put the disc in it says that it is for a xp camera ?????
This cannot be a Vista problem if all you have done is moved the PC and now it won't work.

Try downloading this software:

http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/digitalcommu nication/DownloadResult.aspx?prod=VX3000&os=vi sta32bit&lang=en&driverVersion=LifeCam%201.3%2 032-bit%20and%2064-bit%20for%20Windows%20Vista

Remove any software to do with the camera then install this.
