Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Am really struggling with the last few blanks and would really appreciate some help, please.
96 a famous Herbert - but which?
I have gaps for nos 3.7.12.13.28.30.38.57.stoats?65.Mandalay seems miles out of the way. 87. ends in burg? and 90
Any sort of pointers or help would be greatly appreciated.

96 HG Wells was a Herbert - and Wells is a city in Somerset - it could be him/that ?

96. try Herbert Lom and another name for a nail in woodworking !
3. Anagram of word meaning not new and a word meaning not. Still in this country.
30. Fraser Island
38. Another name used a lot in America for a fringe on a hairstyle followed by a name for a male bird that I couldn't possibly type in public !
I also have Manddalay but you are right, it does seem out of sequence.
Hope some of this makes sense
Do you have a clue for 64. Advertisment, the indefinate article, the indefinate article ... I can only come up with

Message for earthakitten - I replied to your answer immediately, giving you clues for no. 64. and thanking you for your help to me. Where has my posting gone? I have been out the rest of the day, just returning now. I had suggested AD for advertisement; AN for an indefinite article and A for another indefinite article. Then string them tog and gobble gobble!

Found you, good ... have sent now but I think that's what I put in the end. There have been a lot of spoooky goings on on AB recently ... perhaps you are still in hyperspace ... is that the right expression ? xx

Well I am glad it is not just me, then. But it is very annoying/frustrating isn't it.? Hope you got my clue re Saul before you posted. mine's gone too. I am into pairs now - am getting all my may quizzes away before we go on holiday for the latter half of May.
