making friends

I hate the town i live in it seems that it is hard to make friends here. I live in the states in the town that i live in out of the two years that i have been here i have meet maybe two people. I know people at work but i feel out of place as everyone plays soft ball and i feel out of place over there i do boxing and weight lifting but it seems hard to find someone to weight lift with. I do not drive yet so i am kind of limited as to what i can do living in key west where i am from people are very very different down there then they are up here does any one know what i can do?

Hi ultraman. As you seem so unhappy where you are, is moving not an option? Maybe try and find a job elsewhere and start afresh?

Well you do weights id suggest joining a gym.Theres bound to be at least one.Maybe make friends thru there?

Do you mean you cant drive ? if so may I suggest you take lessons,it will open up a whole new world for you, or do you mean at this time you dont own a car ?you also have not said which age group you are in ? do you live in a house, apartment or a condo ?are you a shy type of person or outgoing or middle of the two ? here are your family, cant they come & visit ?your not an inmate are you ?

ultraman ive read many of your post and its all about making friends or relationships.
U live in the usa i would move
I couldnt live in a place that is like the 1 you live in
