laser eye treatment

anybody any experience, or had it done?. where is the best place to go?. any horror stories.Been dithering for a couple of years but have decided the time has come. thanks for replies.

A work colleague had it done years ago and says she is glad she went for it. She used to wear really thick jam jar bottom glasses and said it has made a huge difference to her life.
This was quite a few years ago and I wouldn't know where to go now I'm afraid.

Hi Toecrusher, I have had laser treatment, and it's one of the best things I've ever done. I used Optimax in London. I actually had it done 16 years ago when it was very new, and had it done again 6 years ago as it needed slight fine tuning. But they did this free of charge which I thought was excellent value, and have now been told that this should last me. You do have slight discomfort afterwards but only for a few days, and I have regular eye tests yearly and all is fine. I would recommend it and several friends have had it done after my success and everyone is very happy with this. Hope this helps you make your mind up.
