i am having problems with my p c not turning off automatically, three or four times a week i have to turn it off manually, is it allright to keep turning it off manually?? , and does anyone know the reasons for it not switching off automatically , thanks.

Are you running Windows XP, or something else?

Have you recently updated Windows?

i am running windows xp. i haven't done any updates but as far as i know microsoft updates are done automatically. thanks for your reply,

Hi Penfold, I have the same thing happen with my pc , I'm pretty sure it has something to with drivers, if you want to check it out the best place to go would probably be the Microsoft forums (if you use windows), it doesn't bother me too much, it hangs on the blue "windows is shutting down" screen and I'll just hold the power button for 5 secs which does it no harm whatsoever.
