Hormones are ruining my relationship
4 Answers
My Hormones have been crazy since I had a miscarriage last summer. Over the last few months it's been at it's worst. I end up in a deep, dark, spiralling depression for a few days to a week each month. I know it's not me but it's like something thats taking over my body. I just can't snap out of it when it happens. I say crazy things and dwell on things that would normally be just a little problem in the back of my mind. I'm on the pill but it doesn't make much difference.
Anyway I'm engaged to a wonderful guy who I love more than anything and I'm really scared it's going to push him away. On the days that I'm like this I make his life hell. He really doesn't deserve it. I need to find a way to stop it but I don't know where to start.

Have you spoken to your GP, prehaps you need to change the pill that you are on.
Im sure that your fiance knows that you cant help feeling the way that you do, just keep talking to him and be open about how you feel

I am very sorry for your loss. I don't have your experince but with my own bereavments it did take time to recover, as is said you never stop being sad but its not so overwhelming in time. I am sure that you benefit from sharing your feelings with other women who have had similar experinces and have with the passage of time survived and could help you - with the www there must be some way of communicating with others who have had miscarriages. As for your partner just keep talking to him and let him know how you are feeling.
I hope things improve for you in time

what is making you feel like this is it your miscarriage do you think it the miscarriage ,or is it your hormones ? i had a miscarriage about 14 years ago it was hard to deal with .i was about 16 weeks preg at time . even now some time i get upset about it . maybe you need to talk to some one that can help you . take care good luck xxx
Hi squish,
I think you have more than one issue here that you need to deal with. Firstly i think dealing with your mc is important.
Have you tried st johns wort? i think its like a natural pick me up/anti/depressent. Also, it may be worth keeping a daily diary over 6-8 weeks. Note down exactly how you feel then read back to see if there is as re-occurring pattern to your moods.
Also a trip to the gp for a chat and medical advice. Hope you get things sorted soon. good luck.x
