CANON EOS KISS battery

Please can someone tell me the difference between a CANON EOS KISS battery and a Canon NB-2LH apart from the price? I have a Canon 400d DSLR

Looking at these pictures (and reading the measurements), shows that they're different shapes:

PS: A bit of web browsing has revealed that both batteries are available with different power ratings. If you're comparing prices between the two, make sure you're comparing 'like with like' (e.g. a 600mAh battery will almost certainly be cheaper than a 1400mAh one, irrespective of the actual model of battery).

PPS: DigiQuick offer a 1000mAh battery, suitable for your camera, at about the same price (�10.99) which most other suppliers charge for a 600mAh model:

I doubt it would fit. My guess is that there's an error in the listing, from Island Online, on the Amazon site. The battery will certainly fit the EOS-300D; my guess is that it's either a typing error or someone just assumed that the two models take the same sort of battery.

(PS: If you don't mind a bit of hassle, you could always buy it and return it if it doesn't fit. Since the web page clearly mentions the 400D, you'd have the right to a full refund if the product is not 'fit for purpose').
