Definitely B A Robertson (although I thought it was Billy Conolly for ages)
Both of them appeared on there - remember seeing JGS on Top Of The Pops. # Someone's gone and tripped me, and I've fallen just inside the box (that's a penalty...)
......"and He's handing the ball to me!"

It was certainly John Gordon Sinclair who provided the vocals on this song though I think BA sung in the chorus and wrote the song as well....I have an autographed copy of the 7" somewhere.

The full line up is The Scotland World Cup Squad, spoken part John Gordon Sinclair, composer BA Robertson plus contributions from Willy Carson, Christian, Miss Scotland Georgina Kearney, the pipes and drums of British Caledonian Airways, Jim Watt and Alan Wells.source-back sleeve of the single.
I doubt if anyone would own up to it :-)
Anyone know where I can dowload this song from?
