Builders! A confidence boost?

This morning a truck went past me with a builder in it and as it got closer the driver was staring at me so much I actually felt like telling him to keep an eye on the road! But... it kind of made my morning knowing that he just had to look at me! And it made me think.... when you walk past a building site or a van of guys goes past and they shout the usual like 'Hello Darling'... we all moan that it's sexist and degrading and rude... but I kind of like it. I get all miffed when they don't shout... and put it down to me just having an 'off' day! Lol

So come on.. Honestly.. do you like it?

Sadly it hasn't happened to me in a while. The last time someone whisled it was at my gorgeous sister who was walking next to me.

Luckily Mr P is a builder and he whistles at me when he gets home :o)

Nope I dont need a builder showing off to his mates to make me feel good. I Hate it. And usually give them a good scowl. lol. A nice good afternoon will do. There no better than the letches in clubs that grab your @rse.

I was out once with my ex wife, we both had long hair, earrings, leather jackets, and one of them birds I mean laydees that give out credit card applications stood two feet away and said "Can I interest you ladies".

I wouldn't have minded but had 4 days growth at the time....

I think its sooo embarrasing! My hubby-to-be is also a builder and he's not the sort of person to wolf whistle at ladies...or so I think! lol

When I had my hair cropped short many years ago I stopped getting wolf whistles and toots from white van man. It was bloomin' depressing!! I found it funny that I actually missed the attention.

So yes, I can safely say that I like it. @P)

I think it is assuming alot slippers to definately say it was a builder in the truck, it could have been an escaped lunatic just coming down off his medication, which would explain why he was staring at you for a start, on the other hand, it could have been that he had seen someone very similar to you on crimewatch and was just seeing what his chances of the reward were before giving the old bill a ring. Or, it could be that he was not actually looking at you but staring past you into the cake shop you had just come out of, see, the posibilities are endless and it never pays to be too assumptive.lol : ))

Have to admit I like it too!

But I'm a bit hypocritical, I don't like it if i'm in my car and the traffic has stopped and you get a gawper pull up next to you, you have nowhere to hide until the lights change.....

all a bit of harmless fun . i hate it when im on my bike and i go past my village pub with all the men out side it makes me feel so uncomfortable . i even know them all and say hello but they just dont take there eyes off me till i have gone past. village idiot :)
