I think insurance companies have taken all this too far, they get free money every year from honest drivers and for the last 7 years my wife has paid close to �500 per year for nothing. Not a crash, bump or even whiff of a claim, yet they still need to ask pointless questions.
The need for insurance is to replace a car if written off to its current value, if it was no fault of the driver involved. End of story.
