the recipe I have uses 4ozs of flour,sugar and fat and 2 eggs but gives time for steamimg only.

I always do mine on high for 5 minutes turns out perfect.

Making a sponge pudding is cooking isn't it? I'm trying to save energy by microwaving it rather then steaming for 2 hours as i've heard the results are as good.
