loft conversion

Anyone have any views on what to do and what not o do on a loft conversion? we are thinking of having one done !!

Don't try to fight its basic nature... it was intended to be insudtrial space, so you should just clean it top to bottom (pressure-washing works well for that). Then focus on comfort systems for human habitation - heating/ventilation, electrical and plumbing. Insulation and sealing against draft is crucial, to control heating cost.
