if you change tractor units during the day and the make of tachograph is different you must do what?

The recommended option is to complete the first disc and then start fresh with a new disc for the new vehicle(s). Most transport managers will find this easier to administrate when collating the discs for a particular vehicle.
It is permissable to use the same disc and script but that is messy.

I always keep the same disc and fill in the details of the new vehicles in the sections provided on the back. Thats what they are there for.

Mind you all our vehicles take tachos of the same speed rating. If it needed a different speed rating you would have to use a separate disc
