Going to florida in september for 2 weeks, Myself, my husband and 2 year old, (also 5 others going but obiously not paying for them!) and we were wondering how much spending money to take. Flights, acccommodation, disney 2 week ticket, orlando 5 park flexi ticket and breakfast is all payed for! we dont want to go mad but we also dont want to get there and say "oh well we just cant afford to do that or get that". Would like t do a bit of shopping but dont want to go over baggage limit! Any one with any help or advice we would be grateful?

If your travelling and stuff is already paid for, you just have food and other attractions. If you have a two week Disney ticket and 5 parks entry, how are you going to fit in anything else at which you have to spend money? I doubt you will spend more than 1000 even if you spend fairly liberally.
Well we ate out A LOT, bought tickets to NASA, played a lot of mini golf, went on an airboat ride, kids went to Fun Spot three times I think it was and we bought them armbands every time, two of us went on a helicopter ride (I think that was $30 each), spent a fair amount in Target and Walmart on clothes, DVDs (yes our DVD player does play American ones), CDs etc, bought beer in to drink in the evenings, I went round the shopping malls whilst the others were in Fun Spot (I even bought the outfit I wore to my brothers wedding) and of course petrol/gas. I think we spent over $100 in the NASA gift shop. 1000??? We easily spent twice that!
bablicious - take as much as you can afford - you can always change it when you get back if you don't spend it!
