Sorry if I have mislead a lot of you on here about if there was any news from portugal I was just voicing an opinion did not mean to lead you all on that there was news I am so sorry for being so clumsy you all must know by now that I am not like that.
but why on earth did the parents leave the children on their own in the first place? There was a baby sitting service they chose not to use - it is absolutely awful and I cant stop thinking about this poor little girl, the parents will feel very guilty for the rest of their life - can anyone honestly say they would leave their child alone, while they go out to a restaurant to enjoy themself, it beggars belief!

agrree tottaly with you jules that is exactly what I thought as well
Actually I have been saying the same thing. I know people will point a finger at me pointing the finger (just remember when you point a finger there are three pointing back at you ;o) but I cannot see why anyone would leave their child in bed..even 20 yards away, even checking on her every half an hour.

My 3 year old would be getting out of bed to go to the loo and wondeing where I am. Then probably wander off.

I wonder why the babysitting service wasn't used...or as the dad is a heart surgeon, why a nanny wasn't employed if they wanted time alone?
I agree with you all. I would never ever comprehend leaving a 3 year old alone. What if she woke up with a nightmare?? She would have been terrified to find no parent there at all.
It wasn't only the 3 year old left alone..2 year old twins were there too.

I am still trying to get my ahead around it.
I saw a layout of the place in the papers and the room was fooking miles away....ok not miles..but certainly out of earshot...bad parenting I say
