Seriously - if you feel you cannot cope with hair (which to be honest would be the least of your problems) please, please do not get any pet with hair.
Bulldogs have lots of health problems and slobber alot, puppies pee and poop all over carpets.
Think again (or get a snake, spider, giant snail etc.).

If you mean Bulldogs (there's no such thing as a 'British' Bulldogs!) Then they do moult but as they are short coated it is not as prolific as a long coated breed. The hairs do tend to stick in furniture and on clothes though, particularly the white ones.
If you are worried about dog hair, I would suggest you perhaps should not get any sort of dog, as they all moult to a certain extent, unless you get one of the breeds that you have to have clipped regularly.

thanks for the replys but i have had puppies and dogs before and i know all about them i wanted to know if they did moult and how often. what you don't understand is that my last dog we got fom a rescue home and was great but was a very large dog and moulted long hair all year round, i had to hoover up 3 times a day at least and went through a new dyson every year if i was lucky enough for it to last that long!!! just because i don't i want hair all over my house doesn't mean that i not an dog lover .
No Metz, I am sure TylerTots meant a Bulldog, but a lot of people mistakenly call them British Bulldogs. The French Bulldog is a totally different breed. Maybe the term British Bulldog has come about because they are often pictured wearing a Union Jack, and are often used to represent all things British. Or just maybe its because Winston Churchill looked like one!
I think Tylertots is getting confused with adverts like this:

it is for American bulldogs.
