aah, i feel for u. my daughter has a red hot temper and weve found the "naughty" step does work. U need to be consistant with it, and keep calm. I really try to keep calm, but its bl@@dy difficult when theyre like that. xx
have you spoken to your health visitor, does he go to nursery? instead of saying no all the time ignore the bad behaviour - hard i know - and praise all the good even if it is only a 5 second good behaviour.
you are the adult and he is a 3 year old, look for parent groups to go to for support
I feel for you, it must be horrible, I to recommend the naughty step and a consistant approach, don't be afraid to show him the effect of his actions, ie you being upset

Is there another adult like a grandparent that he always behaves well infront of?, if there is then enlist there help as well.

Consistency will win you the day.

Lots of love and luck x
Hi i feel for you but you need to show him who's boss ,maybe you should try the naughty step ,every time he hit's you or kicks you , place him on the step for 3 mins and dont say anything to him ,if he try's to get of the step put him back there , when the 3 mins are up you need to explain to him why he was put there and that he has hurt you and that if does it again then he will be put back on the step , then give him a cuddle and ask him to say sorry , he will learn eventually if you persit with it , good luck xx
Totally agree with mysteryt above - just wanted to add - keep going, don't give up with it - every time he walks away from the step, put him back, be it 20, 30, 40 times - because the very first time you DONT return him, you'll be straight back to square 1. Try to keep your head clear and motivated by telling yourself that 1 week from now, you should see very definite results if you do it wholeheartedly. I speak from experience! But it DOES work, honest. Good luck.
