Hi Sotelme, I dj but unfortunately not in Derbyshire lol. What I would say is have a word with the venue where you are having your "do" and see if they recommend anyone or have a resident DJ. Failing that I would ask family/friends if they know anyone. I would use the Internet/Yellow pages as a last resort because let's ne honest if someone is paying for advertising why are they payingto advertise isa it because they're no good? I work with an agent and for myself and as a result am now booked pretty much solid until Christmas. Just dont fall into the trap of ringing 3 dj's, going for the mid price one and ruining your night because they're poor. Hope it all goes well!!
