Waxing?!?!?!?!

I am looking to get waxed, legs and bikini before i go on holiday - i have only ever tried it at home before and it didn't work too well - i just dont want it to go wrong and look silly on holiday!!!

I did it myself (not bikini tho, too painful) two year ago and my legs were black and blue,bloodied and so sore. Every one looked at me when I was around the pool on hols, what a mess my legs were for months! BUT I went and had it all done at a salon last year and it was great (painful) but my legs were smooth for weeks and the wax had removed all dry skin so I got a deep tan on my legs. Make sure you get it done in plenty of time cos you get little blood spots but they went on mine in a couple of days

I am with Baby Jane on this one. I too did it myself, legs and bikini- ouch) and was left with bruising. Go to a salon and get it done professionally, its not that expensive and you are going on holiday so spoil yourself.

Yep, agreed, salon did a much better job then I did at home, but like babyjane said, do go a few days in avance of the holiday to let your legs settle down a bit first.

glad this question was asked, how long do you have to grow your hair before the salon is able to wax?

Go to a salon. its not that expensive. Have a look a round, for when you are on holiday get yourself an epilator to top up as the first time you wax there will be shorter hairs she would have been able to grab. They have got one in superdrug for about 20 squid and stylin sam its got to be at least a couple of weeks, if not be brave and just go for an epilator, hurts like hell to start but get your ice pack out and youll soon be ok with it.
