Surprisingly, I've haven't seen any of the predictable comments from people moaning about modern art.

I thought it was compulsory whenever the Turner Prize is in the news? What's going on? Have people got over it?

Even Brian Sewell doesn't bother anymore!
Nobody cares anymore. You can pile your bricks and pickle your cows and be tartish in tents, but that doesn't make you newsworthy anymore.

Personally I like the Not The Turner Prize - my fave entry was a runner up a couple of years ago, it was a lemon peel entitled Bitter & Twisted.
Because as yet on AB there isn't an obvious way to tie in modern art with people who may or may not be illegal immigrants who whilst draining the life force of England are managing to abduct and sexually abuse children?
I have not done my research yet so do not have a fully informed opinion on the Turner Prize so will have to come back to this thread with view that I have thought of, or maybe I will just churn out something from the Daily Mail, Express or some other information source that has high ignorance and prejudice factor.
