Queens Head Pub?

Is it illegal for a pub called the queens head to have a picture of our current monarch on the sign?Because whenever you see a pub called the queens head it usually has either elizabeth 1st or victoria.

Probably because the current queen is the ugliest queen yet!

Possibly because the pubs were called after Elizabeth I or Victoria? Not many new pubs called the Queens Head these days, though presumably if they were they would be after Elizabeth II.

Not many new pubs, spudqueen, let alone called The Queen's Head. Pubs close down; you hardly ever hear of new ones. Bars, yes, but not pubs. And bars tend not to have names like The Queen's Head; they usually have a corporate brand name like Weatherspoons, Pitcher and Piano, or All Bar One.

Did you know that the Queen is technically the landlady of a pub in North Yorkshire?
The Bolton Arms at Downholme, near Richmond is on military land, which technically is Crown land.
Therefore, the Queen is the landlady.
