I am finding it extremely hard to find a decent job since i graduated with a 2:1 degree in politics and social legal studies in june 2005. I have years of experience in retail (only to get me through my studies) and this seems to hinder my chances at getting interviews in more widespread sectors......
(i am interested in advertising, marketing, tv,)......i know this seems as if i should have studied in these subjects but i feel that i have acedemic skills, common sense and a creative and imaginative disposition................every application turns into nothing......any ideas on how i can convince employers to take a chance on me without having yet another qualification and debt needing to be pursued?.........
i feel i will fall into yet another retail assistant role or admin role which has occured since leaving uni simply out of despair and financial need.......all of which have paid me a wage i could have earn't prior to my studies.

I feel very let down by this country's lack of oppertunities for graduates unless qualified in a trade or specific feild!
