Anyone know directions from the resort via bus to ferry terminal and cost/travel time to Athens.....? I am aware that there is a 'slow' and 'fast' ferry to the mainland.

The ferry docks at Piraeus, which is a 30mn metro ride from Athens. most of the ferry companies recommend allowing plenty of time at Piraeus as the port is very large.
